::The place is kept very nice and clean but the food prices are more expensive than if you go to some of the small shops in town. For instance eggs cost more than if I went into a small shop to buy them. One thing that was very irritating is that when I went to pay for everything the cashier was trying to tell me they have no change and wanted to keep my 150 kwanzas! That works out to $.46 Canadian! almost $.50! If every sales person told me they didn’t have change and did this every day I’d have no money left! I went to the manager and explained to him that this should not be tolerated and that I don’t believe in discrimination and stop doing this to me. Especially when you’re in a grocery store that’s huge and the biggest one in town, of course they have change. I could see that some Angolans were embarrassed over the situation and were surprised that I fought for my rights! Have a heart and treat people with respect as I treat people with respect and give back the change that is due to them.
